In February 2023, just after we started dating, we took our first ever vacation together to Revelstoke. We had seen it from a YouTuber, and it looked beautiful, and Jon wanted to go snowmobiling again. We fell in love instantly. Revelstoke is gorgeous, and its got such a vibe.

We went back in January of 2025, and at some point, decided we wanted to share our next trip with a few of our closest friends. We’d like to invite you to see some mountains, and (potentially) try something new with us, and experience snowmobiling to the top of a mountain to be with us as we get married

Revelstoke is a small mountain town with one of the largest hydroelectric dams. The drive to Revelstoke is beautiful, down Highway 1, but does require winter tires (rental companies are used to this and it is not a special request).

There is more to do in Revelstoke on a day off, if you’d like - skiing or snowboarding, taking the scenic Gondola, or shopping downtown.

We’ll fly into Calgary - either Wednesday, and we get dinner at our favorite sushi spot, stay in Calgary, and then drive to Revelstoke on Thursday, or we fly in and drive up on Thursday.

The drive from Calgary to Revelstoke is a beautiful 5-6 hour drive through Banff on Canada’s Highway 1.

On Friday, we’ll do a “training” day - a guide will help you get familiar with riding a snowmobile, and then we’ll spend a couple hours on the trails seeing cool stuff on the mountain.

Saturday, we’ll have a more scenic ride up to get married on top of the mountain, then we’ll go out for a reception dinner in town (with transportation covered so we can enjoy ourselves).

What you’ll need

• A passport to get into Canada (and more importantly, back)
• Some gear (top and bottom baselayers, goggles, balaclava, snowmobile gloves, wool socks)
• Flights to and from - we fly into Calgary, and then it is a 5-6 hour drive to Revelstoke

Lodging

We are looking at either doing a room block at Glacier House Restort , or renting a house or cabin for all of us to stay in for the weekend.
